The only thing I have caught more bass on is an all purple worm.

Watermelon seed, has caught a heap for me.

6"Senko wacky style is my go to in different colors. Watermelon seed seems to work the best. I've caught bass from Georgia to Connecticut on this.

Purple works pretty well to. I just run the hook thru the middle like a jig, and put a large split shot about 18” up the line, and hold on tight. I didn’t realize there was another way to rig a worm until I was about 18-20.

I'll do that sometimes, but I'll also fish them rigged weedless with no weight, Texas rigged and Carolina rigged. It depends on the situation.
