Pine log wma hogs

I'm heading out there on Sunday to look for some hogs as well. I'll probably do a good bit of driving and walking as I've never been on this WMA. Since the regs don't mention "no furbearer hunting" then I'm assuming centerfire rifles can be used because it's during small game season. Am I understanding this correctly?

Edit: After reading through that post and the regs again it sounds like there is NOT a furbearer season and therefore centerfire cannot be used. So small gam

22 mag, 40gr at a minimum, and head shots are needed. Oh, and have more than a 5rd mag or be really good at climbing trees.

You can use muzzleloaders as well during small game and bow or crossbow

I wouldn’t. Rimfire, bow, muzzleloader or shotgun only. Green jeans is thick up around there.

I have used a .17HMR and have had great success. A shot placed in the ear and they drop instantly. But will definitely have my centerfire this weekend.

I just picked up a Savage A17 this year. Going to get a few of the 25 round mags. That would be bad medicine on a hog.
