Pistol Bayonet?

This may be old hat to you guys, but this is the first time I have seen a pistol bayonet.
What would the Gun Guru say?
I could just imagine stabbing myself in the xxxx holstering it.
Or I could cut the snot out of my finger doing a press check!
"Don't worry about practicing clearance drills, just pig-stick 'em."
Am I that old?
Is this the future?????

I could see the point (no pun intended..srsly) but not sure where it could be used..couldn't carry it for as you said, you'll stick yourself. Can't use it as a HD gun really for there's a good chance you'll grab the blade trying to find your pistol on your nightstand out of a dead sleep..meh got other stuff to spend my money on

If you need a bayo on a pistol, your "battle plan" really went south somewhere. Seriously though, I understand the reason for a sticker on a rifle. At least there is a reach advantage. I would forget the bayo and pack a few extra mags and a decent belt knife.

my dad back in the 60s had a french single shot pocket pistol that had a hidden bayonet. it was a black powder percussion pistol

pull the trigger guard back and out popped the 2" bayonet.

wish he had never sold it.
