I am a vet. I am also a member of the American Legion where we thank vets all the time and do all we can for them. Maybe I'm just old but I was taught to say thank you when I appreciate something someone has done. I am curious of the "reporters" intent when writing this story. Should we also not thank the fireman for saving someone? Should we cancel Mothers Day?
Yep. Best thanks I ever got was by two good looking women who bought me a beer when coming home they didn't say anything just sent a beer to my table and smiled and waved from theirs.
