I got this double barrel in a package deal but the seller did not know much. He said he got it in Paris and it shoots modern ammo. Looks to be a 12 gauge. I'm curious of what it is and the value.
This is a French guild shotgun from around St. Etienne (check my spelling?). These guilds were common in Europe after 1900 and were also in places like Brussels and Birmingham.
Great looking gun, those locks might be earlier than 1900 ? I'd be conservative if you think of shooting it though. No idea on value, browse gunbroker or similar, they're not terribly rare.
