It makes a clear difference to me, I don't shoot 9mm without it. But I like to be as quiet as possible, if you're just wanting hearing safe YMMV.
Agreed get the spacer it is cheaper and works better.No go on the fixed mount, it gets stuck on the barrel and the suppressor unthreads from it. I could never get mine off without channel-locks. Go with the barrel spacer, it also shields the piston housing from lead if you shoot 22lr through it.

I got mine from Jake!I would go Obsidian 45 for sure. Tons of flexibility to put it on almost anything pistol caliber, reasonably priced and a wide variety of mounts for almost everything is readily available. We just got more in stock.
