Pls School Me on Solar Panels....

The smaller the panel the longer it'll take to charge. More of a trickle charge, would take forever to really recharge a car battery to start a car.

Most solar chargers are better suited for a trickle charger type of battery maintainer. Here is one on amazon that is sold as an automobile/RV battery charger. They are generally rated in watts. I am sure those ratings are optimistic and probably based on a clear summer day in the Sahara desert. For a battery charger, Watts = Volts * Current. So at 12+ volts, this thing will give you over 10 amps of charging current - assuming honest ratings and a sunny day. The price is over $600. The package dimensions are 61.5 x 28.8 x 4.5 inches. I have no experience with this product!

Wow!

That's spendy.

I had no idea they were that expensive.

(Thanks for the info, though.)
