Hope you're collecting not carrying, back in early 70's during my LEO days, got hit right between the headlights (eyes) with a 25 acp, luckily I saw him shoot and turned to duck behind a door and it glanced off but still knocked me out and required stitches but didn't penetrate, straight on may have, just to diminutive for a PDW. 22LR, if you just got go that small for CCW.
I CCW a NAA 22 LR when at beach in bathing suit pocket with motel key, always prepared,

Also in the 70's, my best friend got involved in a neighborhood bar (not ours) melee that he said resembled the ones in the old westerns. While he was in the emergency room getting his back and kidney sewn up due to a knife attack, he complained of chest pains. ER staff turned him around, found a .25 ACP bullet under the skin lodged against his sternum. Said he never heard a shot or felt the bullet strike.
