POF Revolution 308

So what do you folks think of this rifle. Methinks it just became my unicorn. Weighing in at 7.4 lbs, using many 556 ar15 parts, 308 available in a 14.5 in barrel (yeah I know the barrel length limits the performance of the round). I'm drooling a bit.

Interesting. Barrel should work for most use. I’ve run 16.5” .308 gas guns to 1,000yrds with repeatable success. SOCOM ran guns with shorter barrels to longer distances.

I like it. I was reading an article about the Operator Olympics at Bragg and the longest any team ran was 14.5. You can get longer barrel lengths on the revolution but I'm not sure how necessary it really is. How often do we get a shot longer than a few hundred meters around here? At my hunting lease in South GA where it's all farmland and fields the longest shot is under 400. Not saying it isn't nice to have distance capability but I think I would be ok with an mbr that's effective 6-5 and down. I certainly like the weight of the rifle for a 308. Thinking this is my new Unicorn. I want it.
