Pork Pies for the Brit.............

Saw those made on a television show on British cooking, the English part of me has wanted to try them ever since.

@The_Brit_in_ALT reckons she can’t find good pork pies in GA. Wensley’s are figuring out how to post them and keep them fresh so I will post it if it works out at a reasonable price.

those are very expensive and not quite nice

Expensive ? Certainly not cheap. Quality varies a bit batch to batch, but I have had both better and worse in the UK.

If anyone knows of better source here in the US I'd love to try them.

I buy HP sauce 2 liters at a time and Marmite in 500g jars :) Taste of the old country.

Have you tried Bovril?
We have to hide it well as it's a meat extract and not allowed in the US

Heck, we've got both pigs and pies right here in the US. Seems like something that would be easy to make at home rather than trying to ship them from halfway around the world.

Also, these sound like they would be a lot better if you added bacon to them.

(Just kidding)

(Not)
