Port St Joe or Apalachicola?

I like lanark village. Right on highway 98 between alligator point and carabelle. Place we frequent has a 600' dock, great all year long at high tide with live shrimp. I can connect you to the lady that owns the place if you'd like

Planning a fishing trip for my birthday in mid April. Would you go for brackish water fishing out of Apalachicola or inshore fishing out of Port St. Joe/ Cape San Blas? We would be getting a place for the weekend in PSJ for the beaches and would either take a charter out of PSJ or drive 30-40 min down the beach to Apalachicola for a day. This will be my first charter fishing trip in saltwater so I have absolutely no experience or first hand knowledge to aid my decision. Suggestions or charter recommendations to consider would be great.

I would say Apalachicola for fishing. I vacation in both places, but I keep my boat in Apalach!
Apalach has a little more diversity of fish species and water type. And A little bit more fertility with the river dumping out there.
Captain Jeremy Davidson will work hard for you. Burn extra gas if that is what is needed. www.southernsalinity.com
