Portable tripod?

Well not really, but I've found a spot on a field that overlooks a trail between 2 patches of forest.

I don't have the resources or time to buy and set up a tripod this year, but I was thinking I could just back my truck into the raised corner of the field and set up a blind in the truck bed about 100-150 yards from the trail.

What does everyone think? Hunting from a truck bed yeah or nay?

I thought hunting from a motor vehicle was illegal? Platform ladder & a ghillie suit or camo material staked in a circle around you.

Why not just make you a good ground blind tree tops etc.just make sure you got a good rest to shoot.but it's not illegal to use your truck as stated.
