One I seen many moons ago, if I remember correctly was sterling silver with black enamel ....Can you post a picture of the back? Are there any numerals or marks on the top loop where the ring goes through. Also see if a magnet sticks to the middle where the swastika is.
There were alot of different manufacturers that used 800 silver and some had iron cores while others used brass and other metals. Some have makers marks, some don’t. Also a ton of fakes were produced as these were popular to make post-war and sell to tourists and vets in the 50’s-60’s as “war trophy souvenirs”One I seen many moons ago, if I remember correctly was sterling silver with black enamel ....
Can't tell if the middle is magnetic. Only magnet I have is big and is sticking to something. Bout to post a pic of the back. Can you post a picture of the back? If it means anything, the black internal part does move around s little inside the outer part. Can't tell if the middle is magnetic. Only magnet I have is big and is sticking to something. Bout to post a pic of the back.
That’s a good sign as they were two separate pieces. Also the paint appears to be slightly bubbling on the swastika which is consistent with an iron core. DO NOT TRY TO CLEAN IT!If it means anything, the black internal part does move around s little inside the outer part.
