Powder for 357 mag to avoid double load

W296 does NOT meter well in a Dillon press.

Assuming a Dillon powder measure? I've not used a Dillon measure, but I've used several other brands and types over the years.

How can ball powder not meter like water?
I can't imagine any type of measure that any ball type powder wouldn't work great in?

I've seen it leak from some Lee measures, but other than being a little messy it doesn't hurt anything. For me, ball powder flows.

You can set it and forget it in everything I've tried W296/H110, W231/HP38, W748, W760/H414, BLC-2, H335, and every other spherical powders in. A $20.00 Lee measure is super accurate with these powders. Again, I just can't imagine one that it would have problems in?

I know it's been recommended not to use Blue dot with hot 125 gr. 357 magnum loads, but I've been using it so long and loving it,I can't stop. Which I can understand why the deer don't like. I do use 2400 with the 158 gr.

2400 is a very flexable powder for the 357 and 44 mags.. 17 grs with a 125 gr HP is a good load for the 357 and will fill approx. 80% of the case.

I have been using 2400 for decades, its great for 357 and 44 mag.
Runs very well thru a Dillon 550.
The good thing is you do not need mag primers with it.
296 and h-110 you do and you have to load near max to lite the crap off.
