PPC revolver build

I sanded the frame down to 320 grit. Since I don’t have a big polishing wheel I figured I would do something different. So I am giving my tumbler a try for a bit. See how it cleans up any sanding marks.

I am not super crazy about the finish. I might have went to fine for metals used to make the components. So I will let them sit for awhile in oil. And decide if I want to run it the way it is or sand down and start over.

So I read directions.....and at times still try thing my way.....such as sanding up to 400 grit when the product says not to go over 320. I have had a few that took color, only old 22 rifles. This gun falls in with the norm that did not. So unless I want this really funky look I will sand it down to either 240 or 320 grit. I like to try to achieve a somewhat finer finish if possible. You don’t know until you try. The sight took color pretty good. Barrel has a purple tint to it. The cylinder has a wide array of colors.
