I'm teaching my Practical Pistol Skill Builder on March 21 at South River Gun Club east of Atlanta, GA.

I've revised the class considerably from last year, both for the realities of training in 2021 and to incorporate my skill and teaching development. It integrates live- and dry-fire to cover shooting and training for both competitive and tactical shooters.

You'll start the day with a quick skill assessment, spend the day working on shooting, transitions, and movement, then shoot the assessment again at the end to see how you've progressed. Everyone will leave knowing where and how to focus their training effort to see continued improvement.

Class fee is $150, max class size is six students, so you'll get plenty of one-on-one coaching. Round count will be under 300 for the day, but you're free to shoot more.

Online sign-up with a credit card via Practiscore or contact me directly at andreas@yank.to for other options (check, crypto, cash, etc.).

Three spots left. We came in under 300 rounds for the Feb. 21 class and still had people taping up their hands. The tight mix of live- and dry-fire is giving everyone a quick understanding of how to dry-fire effectively.

Besides gun and ammo what else in needed or included?

You’ll want a holster, mag pouch, sturdy belt, and three or more magazines plus the usual (eye and ear pro, water, snacks, etc.). Everything else like targets, paint, props, range fees, etc. is included. Plenty of students are scribbling into notebooks as well. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

There are plenty of options for suppressor-compatible holsters. I’d recommend getting one of them to make things easy for yourself and be able to work on your draw, which we’ll be doing many of in this class. You could also work a few drills from low ready and ditch the suppressor to work out of a holster on others.

10-4. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
