Just out of curiosity and because I don’t know.. what did they say caused it( I know pool water) but was it the chlorine?

Curious as well since I have young kids and a pool. I know I drank my share growing up with no adverse reactions but then again I also drank water straight from the hose and ate food off the ground along with other bad choices so I’m probably immune to everything at this point.
