Prayers sent for your wife & you mikey357 and for the medical staff. Fayette hospital is a good place to be if you gotta be in a hospital, they did a great job taking care of my wife when she had her 2 heart attacks a few months ago and had 3 stents placed in 2 different arteries.

I'll pray for a steady hand on the surgeon and a speedy recovery. The same thing nearly ended me in 2004. I escaped surgery but it was touch and go.

That diverticulitis is an unpleasant condition

Actually, for a chronic sufferer and a perforation? It's about the worst pain you can have. The heart attack in 2006 was nothing, child's play even, compared to inflammation due to diverticulitis.
