If you want the BEST AK on the market, grab it while you can. Squareback, no conversion is needed. Latest Russian folder style, same as used on the RPK machine gun.
Before the ban FM Vepr folder went for $1200, so 200 ban premium is not bad at all. I have not seen fixed stock FM Veprs for sale for a while.

Before the ban fixed stock Vepr was 1000, folder was 1200. Sporter thumbhole Veprs were 700, IIRC. All 3 went up in price, converted FM Veprs more than sporters.

When fixed stocks hit 1k+ and thumb holes were 850-9(here) I lost interest.


I would like a vepr 12.

Ive had three that I converted myself, sadly traded them all off and got out of AKs. OP is correct, easily the best AKs Ive ever owned.
