Guys,
Here is a little set of washers used to clock muzzle devices that I have been using for awhile.
Usually I like to clock a muzzle device while it is on the lathe so I can make small cuts and orient the brake there.
Sometimes, however, I don't have the device in hand when I thread a barrel, or the barrel was pre-threaded by someone else, so a clocking washer of some kind is needed to orient the device.
Since I am a Precision Armament Dealer, I have started to use these.
The entire set is set up where the washers give you 20 degrees of turn for each washer.
I use them by moving the device to the proper position and then finding the washer that fits the best:
Once you have the closest washer, you apply the proper torque, and you are done!
A big time saver as they come in both 1/2 and 5/8 diameters.
