Price check on a Civil War Spencer repeater

Devil is in the details... if you have a correct example with provenance, thousands of dollars. If it isn't, a few hundred. We need pics and details (and quite likely an expert, which I'm not).
 
I'd have to think that in good to excellent (shootable) condition it'd be somewhere in the $1,800 - $3,500 range depending on lots of things. I've been surprised over the years at the tiniest details in variable condition that can drive a common $1,200 rifle to multiple thousands. To the untrained eye, they look almost the same.

Can you buy ammunition for that any longer? I'm having to nitrate paper for the cartridges I load in the New Model of 1863 Sharps I bought a couple of months ago.
