Price Gouging

Sharsburg I suspect if anything that they knew the impact of this sort of event, having been through it befoore, and retained their stock so they could sell it at higher prices when supply went away and then capitalize on the trend of panic buying.

But if buyers are willing to pay the price, then who cares. People who were lucky enough to own full auto machine guns before the feds banned new ones can now sell those machine guns at ridiculous profit. I was on the "gouging" kick when this all started but I have changed my opinion now that I see this seems to be the new reality. It sucks for sure! But it is what it is.

As an aside, my brother bought lots of gold in 2006. Unfortunately, he won't sell me any at 2006 prices LOL. Now he wants me to sell him 5.56 at 2012 prices...and I laugh. Values change. So do prices.

Aim Surplus has always been good, but I don't mind folks making a profit. Until I'm forced to buy, I don't give a ****. It takes two to complete a sale.

Still trying to figure out how you "gouge" on sporting goods.

I thought gouging only took place on necessities.

No you are wrong. It's gouging if you can't get what you want, when you want it, for a price of your choosing regardless of the political or economic climate. That's your right as an American. LOL :D

I agree, I was looking at AIM yesteday, when they get stuff in, the price is usually "right". Oh, I gotta a letter from Joe Biden, he said I had to buy a double-barrel shottie... or else... damn it! :)

I stopped blaming the companies who charge that much they really are not the problem the problem are the people who are willing to pay that price. If everyone just stopped buying then they would be forced to lower their price
