reloading .45acp. 4.5grains of bullseye with cci 300 large pistol primers, im just about out of the cci but have a bunch of wolf large pistol primers. would there be any concerns to use the wolf instead of cci. using lymans's 49th edition for load that calls for the cci. thanks

No concerns at all. I'm just about through my first 10k brick of Wolf Large Pistol Primers, and they've performed fine. My usual load with Bullseye and Wolf primers is 5.0gr under a 230gr RNL.

Alan--
I use the Wolf Primers all the time now days. They have worked great for me in everything except my stock 9mm Glocks.
About one out of 100 fails to ignite. The Glock just doesn't hit them hard enough every time, they are hard primers.

The Wolfs have been a little hotter than Winchester for me-not enough to worry about with your load.

I used to use a load of 5.5 Bullseye under a 230 grain lead bullet for 935FPS out of a Springfeild 1911--quite powerfull. I would stay between 4 and 5 grains for range work.
