Here’s how we build our horse farm fences in the Bluegrass in central Kentucky. Four planks, so the high dollar foals won’t slip out. Planks on the inside, to better hold the high dollar horses. double fences between the high dollar horses, to keep em from fighting across the fence, so they don’t get hurt. double fence out on the road, to keep the tourists from feedin the high dollar horses, so they don’t get hurt. no hard corners for the high dollar horses, so they won’t run themselves into a corner and get the urge to jump - so they won’t get hurt.

The fastest thoroughbreds are usually a little crazy, because of line breeding.

I'm interested in the farm fence, can you give me some particulars on it ?

The farm fence in the pic is one we built, 6 foot tall. All main posts are 4x6 and cemented in the ground 8ft apart. Their is 2x4 welded wire mesh in the fence. The cross members are 1x6 corral boards.
