So after lots of attempts at self correction I think I need a pro to help get my handgun aim on target. Does anyone have a recommendation in and around the Gainesville area? I know I can search and get lots of results, but I prefer to hear from peoples personal experiences if possible. I have pretty bad astigmatism and constantly trying to correct leads to bad groupings. I think the astigmatism excuse only goes so far though.

I've personally taken classes from First Person Safety at the Red Hill Range in Martin. I thought his teaching style was quite good, and I got better. I don't see a schedule on the Red Hill Range's web site, but they frequently have someone teaching pistolcraft up there.

I can also recommend a "Pistolseed" from the RWVA - the Appleseed folks are teaching pistols.
