Private sale to out of state FFL?

Odd situation here... is it legal for me (GA resident) to sell a long gun face to face in GA, but they are a FL resident that is an 07/02 FFL?

Seems to me it would be like gunbroker where I could ship out of state to someone's FFL, except this person is the FFL... I cant find much on this situation online. I would think an 07 can do basically anything... but what about me?

I am not asking nor requesting legal advice, just your thoughts on the matter.

I would assume it’s the same as if you shipped. He’s responsibility is to do the proper paperwork to satisfy that responsibility.
I think your clear. He should show you he’s legal FFL certificate.
He should know the legality better than you.

You're good to go. It's on him to transfer it to himself if he wants it in his personal collection.

He can buy a gun from anyone, anywhere in the U.S. and sell it anywhere (but only to another FFL) in the U.S.

Think about it. Most new guns a FFL has are out of state purchases.
