When you're carrying a gun, loaded or not loaded, your number 1 priority is safety, period. Part of that safety is to know at all times where that gun is.
WHen you have kids, your number 1 priority is your kids safety. Part of that safety is to know that kid is not in a position to pick up your gun. Period.
Back during the fall, i pulled up to a redlight in Calhoun. The truck next to me had a tool box on the back of it. Laying right there on the top of that tool box was a handgun in a holster .
I got the drivers attention and let him know he left his gun on top of the tool box.
He opened the door, got it and looked at me. He said "Thats the umpteenth time this has happened, one day i will learn."
