Probably a dumb question but... AR rail installation

Hey ya’ll, I’ve got a geissele MK14 on its way that I want to install on a 14.5” upper. The upper already has a bcm comp pinned. All the instructions say to take the muzzle device off for installation. Anyone know the best way to go about this? I feel like it could be simple, but I also don’t want to mess anything up.

Also, if anyone in metro Atlanta wants to help or recommend a spot that will charge a fair price to install, I’d gladly pay to have this done right.

If the device is pinned, the only way off is to drill out the pin. I'm assuming the device brings the overall length to 16"? As long as the rail fits over the device, which it should, there's no need to remove it.

That kit includes a low profile gas block, which wont fit over the bcm comp. If your upper has a low profile gas block, you might not need to replace the gas block.

Already has a BCM low profile gas block installed on this one. Should it be good to go? I wasn’t sure if the new barrel nut would be an issue to get on.
