Don't let the High Point name drive you off on these carbines. The are pretty accurate right out of the box and fun to shoot. But, they are heavy!! Built like a tank..

The ones I've seen were so-so for reliability, which I think is probably due to the cheap mags.

The last one I saw was the least reliable carbine I've ever had in a class.

I've seen my friend run his carbine reliably. They just won't win any fashion show...

I think most folks' backyard plinking doesn't compare with what I call shooting, so they may not have the issues I've seen.

A single stack mag in a pistol caliber carbine is just missing the point.

My only real complaint. I did get a couple of promag 15 round mags
