“To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act any semiautomatic rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine.”

Good thing all my rifle calibers are in pistol configurations. The tighter they squeeze the more gaps form in their fingers.

Great, pass the law...and then we can all deny them being the monthly paper we scroll through for the articles and start calling them clips. All these misinformed gun enthusiasts may have been onto something this whole time.

I'd also like to point out that there will always be workarounds. Like select fire weapons, we got bump stocks, outlawed....ok, binary...still ok but FRT-15.

So let's say this law passes, you know some enterprising individual will find a way to leave the mag pinned in the mag well and create a loading device from the bottom. Like a moon clip but for semi-autos.

Yes. The last Federal assault weapons ban did not have any exception for 22 rimfire guns, although they did make an exception on the ban for high-capacity magazines --a tubular magazine fixed on a 22 rimfire rifle could hold more than 10 rounds and still be legal.
