I cheated and use an electric pellet smoker for mine. Hardest part is not tripping over the extension cord after a couple or three adult beverages.

We have quite a few guys using eclectic pellet smoker's.

You can bring a generator yes, many do. But, If you give me a heads up I can setup your table next to an electrical outlet. I've got some connections, Hint...Hint I run the event.

Thanks, it looks like a good time. There might be confusion as to what category I fall into and my equipment is just not made to travel. Going to put this on my calendar and come by to try some good BBQ though.

We don't have categories, we are all the same, just a bunch of guys have fun and cooking que'.

My boys bday party is tomorrow and he wants ribs. The problem is l have a job. So I'm trying something new. I'm going to put them on and wrap them in tinfoil tonight in the fridge then sauce and smoke for one more hour tomorrow. Hopefully it works and I'm not making rib jerky

It wasn't horrible but difinatly not as good as cooking them straight through with out stopping. I also tried naw rib and sauce. Want a fan of either one. So all in all it wasn't that good. Oh well.
