TBH I think a lower is a lower is a lower (excluding non aluminum forged lowers of course). This is nice because it doesnt have any gaudy roll marks. That's probably about it.

I agree with T TapcoFan for the most part. There isn’t much difference in the low/middle priced uppers/lowers. It really comes down to what logo you want on the magwell.

You can tell a little bit of a difference when you get into some of the more expensive manufacturers though. Their parts will have a more uniform finish with no tool marks of any kind and their uppers and lowers will have a little tighter fit with no gap between them and no rattle.

Does it make them shoot any better than Anderson or PSA?

Probably not.

I got the Ruger at Cherokee G&P they have a good selection of different brand stripped lowers
finish looks good no nicks or scratches
haven't gotten around to putting the guts in it
