PSA Dagger? Is it really any good?

I've had mine for about 6 months now. I broke the firing pin within the first week dry firing it. I replaced it with an OEM gen 3 g19 firing pin and haven't had any other issues with it. The ergos fit my hands better than glocks and I personally like the trigger over any of the OEM glock triggers. It feels more like the old FNS triggers vs the m&p. I bought one to test and see if it truly is a value or a waste of money.

We aren’t PSA dealers, but we transfer multiple items of theirs on a daily basis, including many of the Daggers; both frames and complete handguns.

Our most popular selling handgun is the Glock line. In the past 3 years, not a single customer who bought a Glock from us has brought it back with a problem. We have had multiple customers who transferred Daggers through us complain about issues, and several have asked us to assist in shipping their Daggers back to PSA. One of our gun counter employees had to have his Dagger replaced by PSA, as it wouldn’t function straight out of the box.

I’ll admit that the Dagger feels much better in the hand than the Glock (so does a brick), but an ergonomic turd ain’t something I’m gonna bet my life on. Different folks rank their requirements differently, but on my list ergonomics take a distant backseat to reliability.

To paraphrase Ken Hackathorn, “The Glock grip is a form of Stockholm Syndrome. It doesn’t fit anyone, but over the years we’ve just come to accept it.”
SirBannedAlot SirBannedAlot I'd pay more attention to his experience. As much as I've had no issues with mine, there's always the one in the bunch that apparently gets missed by QC. If it's a carry gun, might not be a wise choice. Mine is a range toy. Doesn't see much other than a dry safe and range day. It might act different if I were using it as intended.

I own 2 Daggers and 3 Glocks. I will say that I have had only one issue and the psa slide stop broke off the tab to hold the spring. Psa quickly sent me the the part! I also changed both dagger Trigger shoes to a glock style ( my preference over the S&W style.) These are my range pistols and my glock are my goto pistols. So far they both Psa are looking between 100 and 150 rounds with Cyelee red dots. They are holding zero very well. Time will tell but I do enjoy shooting them and they brought me into the reddot world. That inself is worth admission

Folks that have owned one or two seem to like them. Folks like me, that have actually seen a much, much larger number of them, do not. Sample size means something.

At least, if you get one, I’d gut it down to the bare frame and rebuild it with OEM Glock parts. That should help.

Well, at that point, I might as well just buy the Glock... No sense in buying the cheaper gun, only to throw out the guts and replace with new parts...

It appealed to me, but if its one of those "too good to be true" type affairs, I will pass for now.

Thanks!
