Tempting for the price but I just heard so many mixed reviews on these and it's not something I want to bank my life on if the need arose. I guess if you throw a bunch of lead downrange with one with no issues that may boost confidence

I would assume that if you didn't feel confident in it during practice rounds, you wouldn't carry it. For me, that would happen way before I had to 'bank my life' on any firearm. Of the two I have had, one never left the safe because of it's constant problems, the other had zero problems & I wouldn't hesitate to carry it or have my loved ones carry it. This particular gun from Taurus is a crapshoot, but it's not like you'd be out $150, just post it here for sale for $200 if you don't like it.

Just dug mine out of the safe. I dryfired a Ruger LCP (not 2) in a store yesterday and I think Ruger beats Taurus in ergonomics. Trigger guard sits too low on the Taurus.
