Publix prime rib sale...soon

The last time Publix offered this deal, my wife and I really took advantage of that plus a lot of other weekly deals. We loaded up on the standing rib roasts (3), a few pounds of extra large shrimp, some salmon, baby back ribs, country style ribs, pork tenderloin, chicken breasts, chicken thighs and drum sticks, BOGO franks, etc. We are going thru check out and the cashier keeps nodding her head (at the wonderful deals). The young lady (high school age) bagging up the meat comments, "That sure is a lot of meat." I nod and say, "Yes, and we are vegetarians." The cashier lost it!

Kroger has 1/2 boneless Rib Eye roast for 6.99/lb and Food Lion has Whole Boston Butt for 1.59/lb

I just got home with a few of the bone-in Ribeye steaks. They also had the Ribeye Standing Rib Roast in the meat case for $6.99/lb/.
