Some people are sympathetic. It is starting to sound like a bad idea.

The releasing of two movies on the same topic is only natural to the survival of your interest to see a movie on that topic in the theater just in case one of them is released in digital format early on the internet.

I've seen the preview, And I would probably vote for it just because I respect the purpose (at least what I've picked up from previews) But If you're worried about it happening I wouldn't hold my breath.
