I think 99.99999% of people would like their doors, turn out the lights and hide under their beds until the time was over. The other 0.00000001% wouldn't have any idea it's a "holiday" anyway.

We would all be on someone's "list," truth be told. Therefore, we'd all kill each other off eventually. Or, basically survival or the fittest and or most lucky, until a new law was created.

OK, give me a scenario.
Considering it would be a total free for all and you wouldn't need a 'reason' to kill someone, you are going to venture out and try and exact your version of 'justice' on someone in that environment? Really?
You know what I'm likely to do? Keep cover and snipe anyone and everyone coming within range ... if they were coming to off my child rapist neighbor... oh well. I wasn't going to take the chance for me or mine. I might have posted something on a web forum somone didn't like after all....

There will always be "that guy" that just picks people off for "fun." No bueno. I'd be protecting my family on the defense side on this one, not the aggressor nor playing offense. Offense wins games, Defense wins championships.

I can't give you a scenario that would involve a form of justice without supplying a topic... you give me a specific crime and I'll tell you how it could play out in a purge holiday. But otherwise I would sound bananas. I believe most murders and crime would be from these 4.. monetary gain (inheritance, insurance policies, business partners and crazy children who didn't love their parents right) then you would have 2. relationship murders (cheaters and wife beaters and such)then 3. scared people protecting themselves and families.... and then 4.the lunitics. At least that's my guess

People crazy enough to commit murder for the things you've described don't need a "holiday". They can do it (and do do it) 365 a year. Unless you are simultaneously attributing them with the insanity to commit the murder and the sanity to abstain due to legality?
