What I've done at my cabin is to simply build them housing,(lots of building plans on line)and I have the house close to my outdoor light that comes on at dark,and it always has lots of insects flying around it when it's on.

Story of my life! If you look under the bat you will see some bat guano on top of the bracket too.lol
