Question about aiming handgun?

Just curious to see what everyone's preference is on this and why?

Do you aim with both eyes open? Why?
Or do you aim with one eye closed like you would if looking through a scope? Why?

i do the one eye closed, because i started shooting rifles that way years ago. we had a loooong thread about this on the high road. i still have to give the both eyes open a try next time i go shooting

haha! I could see you doing that. I close one eye. With a sight on my AR-15 I keep both open.

Try my best to keep both eyes open, but one closed feels more natural because of opposite eye dominance vs. handedness.

Theres to many targets with both eyes open. I do the one eye pirate thing.

Ha ha. I thought this one would have some pretty funny comments. Thanks for the input. Ive found that for some reason I have to do either or depending on the gun I'm shooting. I have pt92 that I can't hit a thing with with both eyes open. But I have a pt945 that's exactly the opposite. Kinda weird. It was hard for me to adjust to shooting without closing one eye because I learned to shoot with one closed shooting rifles. I actually never shot a pistol until I was about 20.
