Question about reloads

Bought about 700 rds of these reloads decades ago at a gunshow. Shot 2 or 3 rounds out of a Tec9 and it blasted my face with burnt powder. Cases were ripped apart. Are these loaded too hot? Don't want to use them in my Glock if too hot. 115 grain bullets.

5 grains of bullseye is what I used to use for 45 acp loads. If they blast your face with gunpower, they are too hot. You can sell them for components. I have never heard of a 9mm load using bullseye.

My personal rule for reloading related anything, if there is any doubt, pull the ammo apart. It’s not worth risking your health or firearm.

I sometimes use bullseye to load 9mm. 4.3g is what works for me. 4.5 is almost to much. 5 is definitely to much in my opinion.

All my manuals indicate 4.6gr of Bullseye is max load.

I use a lot of bullseye. It builds pressure almost exponentially as you approach a max loading, even more so exceeding it.

The load is max, but not over. Of course the powder needs to have been measured properly. Blow back guns often blow powder in the face of the Shooter.
