I recently took this Walther PP, Cal. 7.65 in a trade and I have a few questions. First I know nothing about this vintage pistol. I assume it is a WWII issue handgun because of the Nazi markings. I have attached a couple of photographs showing the markings and perhaps proof marks. Any information any of you Walther or PP gurus can provide will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any information.

4th variation army Walther PP about 66,000 were procured in that variation. I would have to do some more digging and see the full serial but yours was probably made in 1942 or 1943
Thanks for your info. The serial number dates it to 1942 and it is a Waffen Walther. I thought it was stainless when I first saw it, but it is not. It appears to be a highly polished finish and appears to have never been blued.
