I have an Egyptian FN49 That I recently picked up from GunBroker. I just took it out to shoot for the first time and it will not chamber an 8 mm round. Hey portion of the back of the shell casing sticks out from the chamber. I cannot find an import mark in the barrel....I’m thinking it may be a rebarrel....thoughts?

Part of a split shell casing at the front of the chamber?

PS...i have 8mm field guages, dummy rounds, broken shell extractor, and snap caps if you need 'em

Chamber cast may be in order, can’t be too careful. Brownells has it fairly reasonable especially if you order enough to make shipping worth it
