I havent been there in a number of years. I know I need to have a license of some sort (fishing, hunting, target shooting etc) to access the range, but what about my minor children?
Thanks,
Danny

Awesome I appreciate the info. Are you allowed to shoot 22 rifles on the pistol range? Again been a while since ive been there.I'd have to assume that if they are old enough to obtain a license, they'll have to have one.
You'll stop at the shed by the entrance, go in and watch an range safety familiarization video and record you information on a clipboard. A couple of the RO's are giant assholes, and the range sucks for any sort of precision work because of their new target system. You'll get a best guess as far as where your impacts are since they only replace targets once a day. The center gets chewed up quickly and they're unlikely to call a cold range to replace them. Overall, it could be fun for kids as long as the overbearing cocksucking ROs aren't hovering over you.
The pistol range is loaded with steel and sd self healing type targets. It's set up pretty well.
There are no problems with rimfire rifles on the pistol range, you just can't shoot handguns on the rifle range.Awesome I appreciate the info. Are you allowed to shoot 22 rifles on the pistol range? Again been a while since ive been there.
Thanks again.
Yeah, I imagine I will have some fun with those as well! This is an excellent range and the range officers I met were good people. Warning though, letting kids shoot reactive targets makes you ammo disappear real fast!
