My son shot a rabbit and we kept the hide. I came home and salted it but really don’t know what to do. Does anyone have any helpful hints?

Shot 6 and missed about that many. Had a great time with a great group of guys(and 1 girl). Never done anything with the hide and the meat sure is great...

On our property in cave springs. I don’t have the dogs. A buddy of mine has 13 beagles that are some of the best I’ve hunted behind. He brings them out 2x a year and we have a ball. I know he’s not for hire.

you can buy one on line cheaper than you can do your own.. If he wants it, tack it down keep it salted than soften with glycerin after it dries out
