I don't think it lacks torque that's for sure. Geared right that thing should haul balls.

Wonder what he uses to crank it over pre start to clear the bottom jugs? --

If he was smart he would rotate the prop to open the bottom jugs, so oil would drain and not build up, when he lands.

At least some of the lower cylinders will have the valves closed, so need to clear it regardless. Big hunks of metal spinning round there, suspect one orientation's going to give you some interesting moments handling wise.
