Random Misfire F150

2012 Eco here. You NEED to do the following if you haven't already. Drill a 1/16" hole in the bottom of the intercooler (charge air cooler). Then, go to teamrxp.com and order yourself a catch can system. DO NOT fool with anybody else's can (ebay, etc).

Google and Youtube all this. Take your time. Read up. Ford screwed the pooch on the crankcase venting on these engines and there is also a very real problem with condensation building up in the intercooler. The catch can kit and the hole drilled in the intercooler will FIX the shudder under acceleration on these 3.5 engines.

Yes, you may have coil pack and plug issues as well, but the above needs to be done. I did mine nearly 30K miles ago and it's been a different truck since!
