Riverbend Gun Club in Dawsonville is 60 miles from ATL.
Once you get a 100 yard zero, you can participate in rifle matches there without being a member they do have some long-range high powered rifle shoots on Sundays,
out to 600 yards.

What part of town are you in? An hour from Alpharetta and an hour from Jonesboro are very different.

Yeah, but not "long range."
In da 'hood, you are supposed to hold your guns sideways.
Long guns to be fired from the hip,
pistols held above your head and angled down.

And don't forget your life-saving vest.

Bobs gun range in palmetto has outdoor rifle lanes and pistol lanes Annual membership is about 150/year. 30 minutes south of Atlanta. (One downside is not open on sundays or holidays.)
