Tastes like fried chicken, when it is fried, we used to have rattlesnake roundups in my Texas town, you could pick one out and they would fry it up for you. I had it several times, was always tough and chewy.

I dispatch several Timbers every year around my place. They are OK to eat but bony little bastards. Not worth the trouble in my opinion.
