This was the big country music invite to Carnegie Hall several years. Took a busload of representative Grand Old Opry members to perform in NYC. Included Alison Krause and a few others.

Her father played a BIG part in helping to promote her career early on. She is very driven and probably one of the hardest workers in a very cut-throat industry. She's doing something right for sure. Not too tough to look at either

Yeah she didn't come from poverty. I believe her father was a successful stock broker I believe in Greensboro, NC. He was willing to leave his business and relocate the family to Nashville. I just this morning heard that she was the youngest female to be included in the Fortune list of the worlds most powerful women. I believe #25 at age 25.

I guess that makes me a fan geezer..
