Real country music is still around if you know where to look. My favorite new country singer is Sturgill Simpson. He has the classic sound for sure, and his album "meta modern sounds in country music" is a piece of work. He pulls off a style of psychedelic country that is fantastic, and traditional country all the way. He is weird but I like weird. Give him a try. If you like real country music you will like Sturgill.
